Memmmmooorrriiieeessss

Okay so I did this pin in the last 2 wks http://pinterest.com/pin/148126275214813788/ ....Now this one is a dousey ...its by far the one that's taken me the longest but well worth it...Now I didn't do play by play pics because I forgot I had put this one in my "I can make that" pinterest Folder ...however I did manage to get a few pic since I do these for my sewing business I have and I like to take some pics to show progress to the clients.....so heeeerrrrrreeeee she goesss!

A first year quilt....thing's you'll need
Thread
Baby clothes
Fabric (which ever you want to use) I chose Minky and flannel
A sewing machine
A shit load of pins
Stabilizer
Iron
Badding
PATIENCE!
A understanding husband
Perfect kids that behave while you sew
.....Okay some of those are a long shot but we all can dream

Okay first Take all the clothes you want on this quilt for sure and cut them however you please ..I halved most and used bits and parts of others here and there, I also cut out cute tags for this one like "queen bee" ect. Lay them all out so you can get an Idea of where you want them to go and the placing ..
Now I topped stitched all mine to give it a extra funky look but you can seam them together from the back side as well...at this point because of the type of fabric these clothes are mostly made of you want to iron on a Stabilizer so they don't shift on you so go do that now..lol....next  pin and sew...pin and sew...pin and sew...now that your done with that ...which trust when I say it takes a good amount of time doing this...that's why when you have them made there not cheap....like I said a understanding husband and perfect children! lol...ok so now we have it all sewn together next you want to lay down your backing and place your badding on top...then lay down the clothes that are sewn ...what I do is Pin around the edge and trim off excess of the clothes to meet with the backing and safety pin the whole quilt in about 30 places to make sure nothing slips or moves...next after all your excess is trimmed you need to make your bias (trim for edge of blanket) now you can buy some pre made but I like to save money and make my own...here's a pin for that..now I didn't use this pin because I already know how but here ya go it just chalks it up to one more pin for me lol http://pinterest.com/pin/148126275214976694/ Okay now you've made your Bias time to put it on and start pinning again! okay Poof that's done! Your Quick man! Okay now time to sew!!!!! I choose a cute flowery stitch! Okay wow your done with that already ...flippin sweet! so it should look something like this!

Okay so like I said this took a bit to do...I have a few other pins ready to blog I just have to find the time to publish them But I'm right on top of that Rose! (Don't tell mom the babysitters dead quote..you know you love it!!) Okay Gals and Guy (probably my husband) stay tuned!

Scrappy!

So my I did this pin  http://pinterest.com/pin/148126275214536094/ for my friends daughters Birthday!! I was super excited about trying this one out because I want to make one for my daughter as well! so lets begin...

First off I took  half inch elastic stretched it out to the measurement I needed then stitched the two ends together. Next I took some fabric mainly smaller pieces I couldn't use to make anything that had some length to them and cut them in the length I needed to knot on the elastic. For this skirt I did roughly 20 in in length and 2 inch in width....

Okay so now I'm ready to start tying right??...WRONG!! I lost the damn elastic somewhere in my living room between my sons toys and crap on the floor and the fabric pieces everywhere ughhh ....at the end of the night in my house before we pick up when the kids go to bed it looks like something off HOARDERS!! My son is a very Talented mess maker! So instead of driving myself looking for the only piece of elastic that size I dove into my elastic stash and found some more just way thinner ...so I went with that instead ...

I knotted this one because my kids had fallen asleep and well I didn't want to wake them with the sewing machine...But I knotted it real good and it works!
So I start knotting and well once again my drop dead beautiful Flintstone feet come in very handy...so I kept knotting and knotting and knotting....

Then once I got it all knotted together I wrapped purple ribbon around the waist ....

Then once it was completely wrapped I glued the pieces together and pinned it to make sure it held in place to dry...the whaaalllaaa

OMG OMG You are the devil!!! Cocky party of Muahh!!

AHHHH I already wrote this whole post on this pin and I went to hit space bar and POOF it disappeared my finger must have slipped but trust me when I say this pin is officially cursed!!! Lets start from the beginning shall we??..So I picked this pin because it's super simple and I have all the supplies so here it is http://pinterest.com/pin/148126275214620064/ Now lets just say this pin for me became a train wreck and well since everyone can't help but to stare at a train wreck please enjoy mine!!
Now lets start from where this pin went wrong......the directions yes that's right you see my oober cocky attitude on how crafty and talented I am decided all you need is kool-aid, ice cubes and yarn I can skim the directions but I can guarantee that's all I need so I did just that and skimmed!! DON'T EVER SKIM!!!! read bitches Read!!! Ok so after I fu#$@% up the directions I began my pin (still not knowing I'm doing this allllll wrong)

So I began with a cup and half  of water in several cups with a different type of flavor of kool-aid in each one...Don't add sugar!!
Next step was to put each color in the ice cube trays and freeze....this is where the problem began!!!! We buy our ice!! I couldn't find a ice cube tray and the stores were already closed!! ding ding that's right I remembered my sister in law had gotten us some ice cube trays for Christmas a few yrs back!!! but I only found one....so I got my tray to freeze homemade baby food and used that as well!! BTW thanks Chels!!
Okay so I have my tray with white yarn and my ice cube trays about to go in the freezer....Huh??..What's that babe??...The fridge isn't working?? What the hell do you mean it's not working???? FU@#!!!! That's right folks our fridge took a shit! But luckily with my husbands brains and my craftiness we pulled our resources and with a hair dryer and some Velcro we got it working again!! ..Intrigued about how me used those two things to make it work huh??......(you should see how we get down in the bedroom!!...LMFAO jk we have two under 2 well just turned 2 so ...we don't have time to get crafty in there!!) but however now that we've gotten so pro at fixing our fridge we're thinking about opening a refrigerator repair shop...maybe we should call it...bubble gum and Duct tape?? anyways Moving along now that the fridge is fixed and the ice cubes are FINALLLLLy frozen time to make some magic happen....so I strategically place the ice cubes around the top of the yarn to make sure when it dyes it looks freaking awesome!!

Now time to wait and watch the magic develop!!....Waiting.....waiting.....waiting........ Whats that babe??..."Bre it's all gonna melt and be a big pool of soupy blahhh underneath!" ....I reply " Um your stupid, no it's not ...Look at the pin ya dork it dyes it as it melt"...ugh men so stupid!! .....waiting....waiting

WTF!!!!!....Great Hubby was right!! WTH where did I go wrong? Crap he's never gonna let me live this down ...he was right for ONCE!! I'm gonna hear about this till I die!! God Only knows what I'll have to do to get him to shut up about it .... hehe *wink* bahaha Yea right ...Great so it all did melt to a mushy pool of bahlaa....Time to call my mom (My Guru of Craftiness) Mom...wth I did what it said...(mom finds pin and re-reads it aloud) ...Use only wool yarn and must wash first in a vinegar bath....F#$K ..."Breana did you wash it first and only use wool?" ....Umm no?! Ugh I hate admitting to my mom that I did not read the directions thoroughly and only skimmed (shes been bitching at me about that since I was little) I can't help I'm a self made Genius and don't need to read directions (well maybe this one time) bahahaha ....So I really wanted to have this pin done in time for My friend Kristen that will be going to deliver her twin boys within the next wk and a half (shes learning to Crochet) But however Kristen I don't think you want this one?!?! I'll be revisiting this pin ..this wk I hope ....AND DOING IN CORRECTLY!! I should have never started this damn Pin....cursed it is cursed!!...so enjoy my soupy mess!!

50 shades of Twilight

Okay now like I said before I heard nothing but great things about this Trilogy so I decided to indulge and well I'm kinda disappointed, lets start from the top! Okay so I start the first book and well it's a some what catchy story line for the hopeless romantic S&M Then as I keep reading I'm thinking 2 things one this story seems somewhat familiar and two seriously who the hell has sex this much!!! I don't have time man!!! I need to clean the house do laundry run errands pay bills feed the kids pay attention to the kids play with the kids make meals "socialize" and possibly bathe!!! I mean even when Tev and I didn't have children I don't think we were doing it 6 times a damn day! really?????? AHHH HA it dawns on me this book is TWILIGHT!!! With a few twist here and there and some sex and non vampires!!! Holy shit what a rip off to late now I'm already reading the second book might as well finish what I started!! So I do and can one of these women please just write a book from the mans point of view? Because I'm so sick of hearing how ugly you think you are and how pretty your best friend is wah wah wah wine and cheese wine and cheese I'm over it...The best chapter in that book was the last from Christian's point of view...and honestly how many times do you have to tell someone "If something happened to you I just don't know what I'd do?" I mean in all honesty I've been with my husband around 7 or so yrs (we don't count not sure exactly LOL) he's never once said that to me nor have I ever put myself in a position to where he had and on top of that I know what he'd do without me ....I've seen his journal lmfao jk he doesn't have a journal ......that I know of! But all and all I didn't buy the books I only borrowed and I'm glad it's a one read kinda deal. Feel free to give me your input  BTW sorry I know this it totally of the pin test project I just had to get this out there lol

It's His party and he'll Cry if he wants to!

It's been a busy few weeks, I'm still working on some larger pins that take some time and well I got roped into reading 50 Shades the trilogy which I'll do a post about and get your feed back as well, but I did do a few little pins for my son Rydens 2nd Birthday!!!!! So here are the pins http://pinterest.com/pin/148126275214801778/ Andddd http://pinterest.com/pin/148126275214801772/ one more http://pinterest.com/pin/148126275214736677/.... Okay so while doing these few easy pins and the reason why I chose these pins is just that "easy" except the cake but I did my own version I chose these because I was busy doing what every mom does before a party or people over your house ( That doesn't have a made or Mrs.Jones) I was Cleaning the SHIT out of my house, doing the whole ohh no My house allllllways looks like this please eat off the floor its sparkles for heaven sake...Yea not so easy with 2 kids under 2 meanwhile wrapping presents, preparing food making a cake, entertaining 2 nuggets while running my lil business and trying to spend time with the hubs! So like I said that's why I chose 3 easy pins. Now I didn't take step by step pictures of these because well hell I didn't have time and also it's pretty self explanatory if it isn't then well I'm surprised you can read this blog at all so Congrats to you, you'll receive a gold star!!! lol I'm such an ass my apologise ...

okay so Birthday cake we'll start there!

I did a confetti cake with chocolate icing and cream cheese I used food coloring and sent hubs to the dollar tree to pick up misc car crap (which by the way didn't last long on the cake after my son saw it and insisted he needed the cars asap or he would throw a complete bitch fit until he got them lol, thank god this pic was take right after I removed the foil!!!)

Next vanilla wafer banana sandwich.....seriously....do you need me to explain?? Moving on

Rice Crispy treat stop lights, Now this one is simple as well and I don't need to give you a step by step just read the box and Purchase so M&M's but before you do beware I'm quiet pissed at the company that makes these delicious treats you see we purchased 4 pouches and the entire bunch there were only 10 at the most red M&M's!!!!! WTF so I did what any mom would do when she's ran out of time and guest are starting to show up and I hid the non stop light one's underneath!!! urghh I'm still irritated!! in one bag it had 00000 NONE NADDA!!! But I will not dwell in the past I'm moving forward to bigger and better pins!!!

Dress to impress!

Sorry I've been a lil MIA lately lots going om around here, but I managed  to get a beautiful dress done for one of my hubby's friends lil girl!!! Yeaa so Lets begin this is a pretty simple pin in my mind ...You don't have to be a wizard or magician to figure this one out! Here's the pin http://pinterest.com/pin/148126275214502815/

Things you need:
1.) Ribbon ( medium width but really any size would work it's just a matter on how much time you want to invest in wrapping the elastic)

2.) Thread and a needle or a sewing machine

3.) Medium width elastic

4.) Satin ribbon

5.) Tulle

Okay so you start out by measuring how big you need I went off a toddler size chart online to know her size roughly, next you stretch the elastic so that it stretched a lil beyond about 2 inches or so from the width you want and you cut.
Then your going to stitch the 2 cut ends of the elastic together like so ^

After you select the type of ribbon you wish to wrap around the elastic then the tedious part begins, I personally hated this part and tried to get my husband to tag in and help....which didn't happen lol
I only had really thin ribbon or huge thick ribbon so I opted to do the super thin which took FORRREEEVEERR. I suggest a medium width ribbon.

Here's a pic of the ribbon fully wrapped around the elastic.

Next you need to figure out the lenght you want the tulle I figures in between the knees and ankles so I wrapped mine around my husbands arms over and over and over again and cut only one end

After that's done next you wand to stretch the elastic not fully but enough to get a sturdy grip and to make sure the dress if very fluffy and full. Next you start to knot the tulle onto the elastic wrapped with ribbon, using a larks head knot you knot the tulle onto the elastic I added one extra knot as well to ensure that the tulle would not loosen.
lol yup that's my foot, classy eh????
then once it is complete take your large satin ribbon and run a small stitch in the back of the dress on a piece of the tulle through the satin ribbon to hold the ribbon in place. I did a lose stitch just so when she gets a little bit bigger she can use this as a tutu and the thread will remove easily.

Pretty cute huh? I still need to trim down my bow but you get the drift!!!!! I'm working on some big projects the next few wks that will take some time, along with my sons 2nd Bday this weekend and I'll be using lots of pins for that as well so stay tuned!!!

Are you a good witch or a bad Witch

Okay so I had fun with this one!! By the way there are 6 of these available I used 2 different pins for this one, I made a witches leg book mark! check it out here http://pinterest.com/pin/148126275214549194/ okay and to make this I used this pin as well http://pinterest.com/pin/148126275214534414/ now I did do the hand print of my son but it kinda bubbled and popped so we're gonna re-try when I can get both the nuggets to be awake during this process and maybe even get some booty prints done lmfao, Yes I'll be that mom with instead of hand and foot prints I have ass prints hanging in my house!
Okay so what you'll need:
1.) 1/2 cup of flour
2.) 1/2 cup of salt
3.) water mix
4.) I used nail polish but Paint you can use also
5.) index cards
6.) Elmer's glue
7.) a knife

Okay mix the flour, salt and water till you get a non sticky dough, next shape it in whatever the hell you want to make really...then put it on parchment paper and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Let cool and paint!! So I did a witches leg bookmark, mine didn't turn out as awesome as the one in the pic but hey it was my first shot at it, I'm sure the next batch I make to do the kids butts I'll have some left over and can retry then. So here's the break down
 Making the dough
Shaping  the dough (I used a baby nail file to help with the shaping)

 Baked and painted
I took a knife and made a sliver in the top and put a drop of Elmer's glue over the slit and put two index cards inside for the book mark
The down fall.....The dough split open in the back..Now I did add a lil more flour to my mixture because at one point it was to sticky so I think that's where I went wrong
Finished product! not to shabby for homemade! like I said I have I believe six available that I need to paint so if you want them you can have them ...I'm keeping two :)
